The Hyland Construction & Design concept all began when Scott Hyland relocated to Charleston in 1997 where he was working for one of the largest contractors in the area. He later decided it was time to go out on his own. The company was established just five years later in 2002. Although starting with smaller renovation and addition projects, our demand continues to grow due to our reputation and quality work.

SPECIALIZING IN RESTORATION, REMODELING, AND CUSTOM HOME BUILDING

Over the years, we have taken on a number of downtown renovations, which has expanded our knowledge of restoration and rehabilitation. When we began in 2002, we primarily built spec and custom homes. And since then have been honored to work on some significant upscale and expansive remodels in Wild Dunes on IOP.

Specific to the South, we also have extensive knowledge in taking existing homes and raising them from a low crawl space to convert them with a drive under entryway complete with an elevator for maximum luxury and convenience. Our range of construction projects goes very deep, as does our knowledge of home building, restoration, and renovations.
